RISCVNEWS.COM is run by a small group of people passoniate about the possibilities of an open source ISA.
The original project was going to focus on the J-Core open processor, but it quickly became clear that RISC-V had captured the imagination of the open source (and commercial) world.

It’s the kind of website we wanted to follow instead of create, but we now see it as an opportunity to give back to the community.
